Audit File for Paypercut
Connect your Paypercut account directly with Take a NAP for automated audit files and electronic receipts in compliance with Ordinance H-18.
Take a NAP now supports direct integration with Paypercut — an innovative European payment platform built for merchants in Central and Eastern Europe. If you use Paypercut to accept online payments, you can now connect your account directly to Take a NAP for automated electronic receipts and standardized audit XML files for the NRA.
Paypercut offers a single checkout for payments across Europe and is the first BNPL aggregator in the region. This makes the platform an excellent choice for merchants looking to offer flexibility to their customers through cards, digital wallets, and installment payments.
Why Paypercut?
Paypercut stands out with its focus on the CEE region and its easy integration of multiple payment methods. The platform allows merchants to sell in over 29 countries and accept payments in 12+ currencies, while providing onboarding in 12 markets, including Bulgaria.
For online merchants specifically, Paypercut provides:
- BNPL Aggregator — offer installment payments from multiple providers, while you receive the full amount upfront
- Hosted & Embedded Checkout — a ready-to-use payment portal with plugins for Shopify, WooCommerce, OpenCart, Magento, and PrestaShop
- Payment Links & QR Codes — easily collect payments via links, without the need for complex integrations
- Security & Regulation — partnership with the Bulgarian EMI Paynetics AD and the Dutch PI Embed BV for full compliance with European standards
The integration with Take a NAP works automatically for every transaction processed through Paypercut. Whether your customers pay via Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, or use a BNPL method, Take a NAP will track the sale and generate the required documents.
Take a NAP reads every transaction processed in your Paypercut account, automatically sends electronic receipts to your customers, and on a date of your choosing creates a standardized audit XML file for the NRA.
Who is this for?
Any online merchant in Bulgaria who accepts payments through Paypercut and reports sales through the Alternative Regime for Registration and Reporting of Sales. This includes:
- E-commerce stores on Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or OpenCart using Paypercut Checkout
- Businesses in the CEE region looking to offer BNPL methods to their customers
- Merchants collecting payments via payment links or QR codes
- SaaS and digital services billing customers in different currencies
As always, we recommend consulting with your accountant or tax expert to confirm that the Alternative Regime is appropriate for your specific business setup.
Online merchants in Bulgaria reporting through the Alternative Regime must comply with Ordinance No. H-18, which requires generating audit files and sending electronic receipts. These are essential elements of the Alternative Regime for Registration and Reporting of Sales.

What are audit files and electronic receipts?
The audit file is a standardized XML document that includes detailed information about all transactions made in the online store. This file serves as a digital record of sales and is important for reporting to tax authorities.
Electronic receipts are the digital equivalent of traditional paper receipts. They are issued for every online purchase and are automatically sent to customers electronically, via email. Take a NAP follows the Alternative Regime for Reporting Sales, where electronic receipts, informally called “cash receipts”, are not fiscal.
