Audit File for myPOS
Connect your myPOS account directly with Take a NAP for automated audit files and electronic receipts in compliance with Ordinance H-18.
Take a NAP now supports direct integration with myPOS — the award-winning Bulgarian fintech platform that serves over 350,000 merchants across Europe. If you use myPOS to accept online payments, you can now connect your account directly to Take a NAP for automated electronic receipts and standardized audit XML files for the NRA.
myPOS is a payment platform with offices in Sofia and across Europe. This makes the integration especially relevant for local merchants who want a fully domestic solution for tax compliance.
Why myPOS?
myPOS has established itself as the go-to payment platform for Bulgarian businesses. With over 350,000 merchants in 35+ countries, the platform offers a complete ecosystem: smart POS terminals, an online checkout gateway, payment links, a MO/TO virtual terminal, and a free business account with IBAN — all with no monthly fees and instant fund settlement in just 3 seconds.
For online merchants specifically, myPOS provides:
- Online Checkout — a secure payment gateway with ready-to-install plugins for WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart, PrestaShop, X-Cart, osCommerce, Zen Cart, and CloudCart
- Payment Request & Payment Tag — one-time or reusable payment links shared via SMS, email, chat apps, or social media
- MO/TO Virtual Terminal — accept card payments over the phone or by email, directly from your myPOS account
- PayLink & PayButton — simple links or embeddable buttons for accepting payments on websites, blogs, or newsletters
The integration with Take a NAP works regardless of which online payment tool you use within myPOS. Whether customers pay through the checkout on your website, via a payment link you sent them, or through the virtual terminal — Take a NAP will track the transaction and handle the rest.
Take a NAP reads every transaction processed in your myPOS account, automatically sends electronic receipts to your customers, and on a date of your choosing creates a standardized audit XML file for the NRA.
Who is this for?
Any online merchant in Bulgaria who accepts payments through myPOS and reports sales through the Alternative Regime for Registration and Reporting of Sales. This includes:
- Service providers collecting payments via payment links or the virtual terminal
- SaaS businesses billing customers through myPOS
- Hospitality businesses with online booking portals
- Social media sellers using myPOS payment links to collect payments without a website
As always, we recommend consulting with your accountant or tax expert to confirm that the Alternative Regime is appropriate for your specific business setup.
Online merchants in Bulgaria reporting through the Alternative Regime must comply with Ordinance No. H-18, which requires generating audit files and sending electronic receipts. These are essential elements of the Alternative Regime for Registration and Reporting of Sales.

What are audit files and electronic receipts?
The audit file is a standardized XML document that includes detailed information about all transactions made in the online store. This file serves as a digital record of sales and is important for reporting to tax authorities.
Electronic receipts are the digital equivalent of traditional paper receipts. They are issued for every online purchase and are automatically sent to customers electronically, via email. Take a NAP follows the Alternative Regime for Reporting Sales, where electronic receipts, informally called “cash receipts”, are not fiscal.
